An electronic cigarette is a device that combines a set of elements that, keep in mind requires some basic precautions to avoid risks of accidents or injuries.

To insure the autonomy of our box, we use a battery, a rechargable battery that requires a particular care.

  Batteriesfrom reliable brands dedicated to vaping do not explode! The problems accure when disregarding the security measures, when for example, using a poor quality battery that all vapers should stay away from.

What is it ?

The lithium batteries that we find in the electronic cigarettes are eveywhere in our daily life for example in smatphones, tablets, digital cameras or laptops.

The battery is therefore a secured device exept for the few exeptions that follows:

In the case of the electronic cigarette, the battery can not explode, but degas when using a non-adequat charger or when raising its temperature to high. When not in use, the battery should always be carried in a case. Some shocks could damage it and accidents may occure. Know that a simple with loose change or keys in your pockets can lead to sparks.

Your reminder for the proper use of the batteries.

• Only purchase your batteries from reliable and specialized stores, professionnal and good advisors to have the insurrance that the materials have successfully passed all the quality tests.
• Always carry your batteries in a box and place them in a protection case, never throw them in a bag or in your pockets. A simple contact with metal can cause serious accidents leading to both physical and material injuries.
• Change your batteries when the protection platstic is damaged, you can possibly "rewrap" them if you know how to do it.
• Check the correspondance of the different parameters of your battery between its capacity in mAh, its discharge and its format. An IMR battery at the 18650 format, of a capacity of3800 mAh for 50 A doesn't seem coherent. Informe yourself and reconsider the purchase.
• The smaller the battery, the weaker the discharge and capacity, so avoid the 18350 for low resitances because they will not work properly ;
• For usage in a box with multiple batteries, use the same batteries, of the same brand, with a equivalent number of charging and discharging cylcles;
• Always test your coils with an ohmmeter before screwing the atomizer on your mod;
• If your mod is equipped with a hybrid top cap (without a pin), make sure the pin of your atomizer comes out correctly from the connector, otherwise you risk a short circuit;
• Always use a mod or a box provided with degassing holes, in case of absence, the degassing of an excellent battery could lead to an explosion of your equipment.
