TEST OF THE OXVA XLIM PRO KIT

We've asked Rebecca, our Marketing Manager, to test Oxva's Xlim kit for 10 days.
Rebecca chose Power Salt's de Sour Apple e-liquid to go with her test. Here are her comments.

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?

The first thing you notice about the XLIM Pro is the quality of its finish. The colours in the Denim range evoke a faded denim effect, with soft, elegant shades that stand out from other kits with more aggressive colours. The soft-touch finish is very pleasant to the touch and adds to the sense of a successful, top-of-the-range design.

What was it like at first ?

The Xlim Pro is slightly heavier than I expected, which is down to the quality of the materials used and its generous 1000 mAh battery. It's equipped with a brand-new refill system. The cartridges supplied can be filled from the top, so there's no need to remove them from the kit. The filling tab is fully exposed and remains accessible even when the cartridge is fitted into the device.

To switch on the device, simply press the switch button 5 times. The power automatically adjusts to the pod's coil.

What's your experience with this kit ? 

Oxva products are always designed to evolve with the vaper, and the Xlim Pro is no exception ! For a beginner, this kit can be used in a ‘basic’ way, with automated settings. However, it also allows for a more personalised vape experience, suitable for more experienced vapers.

The screen sits above an RGB light, which lights up when you're vaping and indicates your battery level. By pressing the Fire button twice, you can customise the colour of the light or even turn it off completely.

The wattage can be customised by clicking the switch button 3 times. But Oxva goes even further... For example, if you're using the 0.6Ω cartridge, when you first insert it, the device automatically sets the wattage to 22W. If you want a little more power, you can manually increase it to 23W. Then, if you switch to the 0.8Ω cartridge and then back to the 0.6Ω, the device will remember the wattage you last used. It will then set itself to 23W, rather than the default 22W. No need to adjust the wattage once you've found the perfect setting !

The airflow is also adjustable, and one of the perks compared to other kits is that it stays in place, no matter how you carry your kit around.

Did you encounter any difficulties with this kit ?

No particular difficulties. It should be mentioned, however, that the tab on the new pod-filling system can pose a few problems if your nails are a little too short.

Who would you recommend this kit to ? 

This kit is suitable for both beginner and experienced vapers. If you're an MTL vape enthusiast looking for a top-of-the-range kit, look no further !
