Responsible since 4 years now for Sweetch Sales and Purchasing departments, Arnaud prefers tight vaping in Mouth-to-Lung (MTL). He normally alternates between the Nautilus 2 of Aspire, a Tarot Nano of Vaporesso, and the Minifit Pod Kit of Justfog.

Interview

1. What made you want to test a JUUL??
There are over 100 million users worldwide, which makes it a pretty safe bet. It has had huge success in the US and in Great Britain, to the point where the company is now listed on the stock exchange. It made me want to discover their product.

2. What did you think of the packaging and the equipment?
The packaging reminded me of a traditional cigarette pack, both through its format and its aspect. My sense of belonging to the cigarette community was thereby satisfied. I rapidly made the link with products from Apple: a sober style, lightweight, simple and comfortable..

3. What were your first impressions and your general experience with your JUUL?
The moves are very close to those with a traditional cigarette, which I instantly appreciated. There is no button to activate, inhaling being enough to switch the device on. The fact that it is very discreet and elegant was also a plus, especially for a vaper like myself who does not necessarily appreciate huge clouds of vapor.

4. Can you list positive and negative points for us??
On the positive side, the move is very close to that with a cigarette. I also appreciated the simplicity to change a cartridge, the non-complex flavors (also close to cigarettes), and its reliability. It always works: no false contacts and no leaking of e-liquid. They really thought everything through. As simple as a cigarette: take it out, vape it, and throw it away (the cartridge that is, not the e-cigarette itself)!
As a negative, I would maybe mention the throat hit. As JUUL follows the TPD regulation, they could not put more than 20mg of nicotine per ml of liquid in Europe. Maybe that a higher nicotine content would be more effective, especially for heavy cigarette smokers.

5. What is your favorite flavor and why?
I really like the tobacco flavor. I was looking for something as close as a cigarette as possible, and I found it. It is a simple blond tobacco that could remind you of a Marlboro. I also like the apple flavor. Being a seasoned vaper, I like to alternate flavors and find that there is a fun aspect to vaping apples …

Conclusion

Since 10 days now, Arnaud cannot let go of his JUUK. In the office, we often see it charging, directly on his laptop. For him, the JUUL is a really successful launch.
