Episode 6 - How to take care of my tank !

The tank must be cleaned... often, so how to clean it without breaking it or altering it's functionalities?

Why ?

Every week or every time you wish to change your liquid, take some time to clean your tank up. It will only take 2 minutes and you won't regret it.

Certain liquids like the menthol ones, always leave a little taste in your tank and that could spoil the taste of the new liquid you wish to try.

Some dirt may find it's way inside the tank through the airflows or the drip tip, this will eventually end up in your mouth or in your throat so it's no wonder, you have to clean it up

Take the habit of cleaning it every time you change your coils, that seems like a fair amount of time and it will defiantly save you the troubles of emptying your tank because of unpleasant residues.

After all it is just a question of hygiene , you wouldn't use the same dishes without cleaning them right?

How ?

Every week or at every liquid change. just give it a little clean, it won't take long and you won't regret it.

  1. Start of course by separating the battery
  2. Disassemble completely all the parts that compose it (drip tip, base, etc.).
Unscrew the resistance that should not be put under water.
Clean the tank with warm, slightly soapy water.
Then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Blow in a few small strokes, wipe with a cotton swab, then dry the whole thing for 2-3 hours on a household paper.

Like most of our accessories, maintenance requires a certain amount of care and a minimum of cleaning. It does not take much time, but it will make all the difference. Regular maintenance of the airflow as well as the suction tube will give a better longevity to your device (every day with a cotton swab or household paper).
