Why ?

Nope! Not at all and here's why.
An itchy sensation in the throat can seem odd, you can easily find it alarming since you are in the starting process and discovering new sensations .

this effect is due to the nicotine previously added in your e-liquid. It is what we call the « hit », the so characteristic feeling so loved by smokers. The fact to experience the hit via vapor comes with a whole new sensation and this explains the itchy throat.

How to fix it ?

First of all, wait for a day or even two if necessary, to give your body the time to get used to vaping and this smoking cessation. A lot of changes indeed.

However, if this sensation is to strong, even after the 2 days of adaptation time, you should definatly use a word of advice from your salesman, your store specialist who sold you your e-cig.

you will probably end-up deciding together to reduce your nicotine level. Adjusting your settings may also be indicated. According to your set up, a high dosage of nicotine is not always the best option, so you can always reduce it by changing the power on your box.

Never minimize what is happening in your body in terms of changes and cessation possibly even withdrawal. The effects of years of smoking do not dissapear in 24h. So take your time and take it step by step

To take in consideration:
Cases of allergies to PG (Propylène Glycol), one on the main component of e-liquids are possible but remain extremely rare.

So, no need to panic it's only because you are in the starting process. Every changes has its adaptation period so patience.... you'll eventually end-up finding the perfect dosage.
