Eliquids, how to find your way around ?

E-liquids are available in an almost infinite variety of flavourings according to the inspiration of flavourists and other juices makers. And, as we all have different tastes, we get to choose from a large variety of different e-liquids, making it impossible not to find something we’ll like. There are four main families : classics, menthols, fruity and sweet.

Classics

Under this name, not necessarily clear, we find liquids that copy tobacco flavours. They are particularly recommended for first-time vapers to ease their transition to vaping from smoking. The "classics" very often come with additional flavours such as vanilla, caramel or nuts. Among tobacco lovers, some swear by the macerate, which is considered more authentic, while others prefer more complex blends, with hints of fruit or mint.

Menthols

The other popular e-liquid family with beginners is undoubtedly the minty ones. These flavours are very popular for the fresh sensation they provide and, perhaps, because they mark a strong break with the ashtray breath of combustible cigarettes. They come in a variety of flavours, ranging from a very tangy chlorophyll mint, worthy of an American chewing gum, to a polar mint capable of freezing your taste buds. They can also be found paired with tobacco or fruit flavours, with which they go very well.

Fruity

Fruity flavours are very popular and are probably one of the widest range with unlimited combinations. They represent an interesting solution for vapers who feel the need to cut themselves off from their previous addiction. Simple flavours such as apple or melon, for example, are very reminiscent of a chicha sensation. Red fruits, such as blackcurrant, are among the best and come in all forms. Exotic fruits make excellent companions during the summer months. Fresh or tangy touches expand the range of possibilities.

Sweet

As the name suggests, this category of e-liquids is aimed at sweet tooths. If it’s not always obvious that you are going to vape a chocolate macaroon sprinkled with coconut or a black forest cake with a hint of kirsch, the result is sometimes very surprising. It’s naturally in this sweet category that we find the most creative and sophisticated recipes. To reproduce the flavour (or rather the flavours) of a dessert accurately, the authors of these recipes often have to spend many weeks testing and tasting before getting to a convincing result.

The range of e-liquids available is such that some sub-categories have become families in their own right, such as 'candy', which include popular chewing gum and other flavours. We’ve also got "drinks", which include energy drinks, sodas and other flavours. Finally, more confidential : "salty", available with certain manufacturers who do not hesitate to offer pizza or barbecue flavours.
