These methods not only provide a measure of the effectiveness of the package in restricting access by children, but also cover the accessibility to the contents by adults. ISO 8317:2003 is intended for type approval only and is not intended for quality assurance purposes.”

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point according to European regulations) is a method for controlling the safety of foodstuffs. It was developed in the United States by a laboratory dependent on NASA. The objective is to prevent, eliminate or reduce to an acceptable level any biological, physical, chemical and allergenic hazards. The implementation of these control points within a production unit enables compliance with the NF V01-006 standard.
