Let’s talk about this kit

Are you adventurous ? Then we’ve got the perfect kit for you ! The Aegis Boost Kit, is a mod pod made of zinc alloy and leather. IP 67 certified, waterproof, shock and dirt resistant ! It’s even water resistant up to 1m !

Its singular design clearly bears the stamp of Geekvape. When holding it, we immediately feel its light weight (120g). It’s also very ergonomic and pleasant to the touch. The quality is excellent ! And its small size means you can take it everywhere with you.

The removable tank fits perfectly on the mod. A small button allows you to remove it to change the coil. This kit comes with 2 coils in kanthal : a 0.4ohm for power ranging from 25 to 33 watts and a 0.6ohm for power ranging from 12 to 15 watts. Both are intended for a rather restrictive aerial vape. The filling is very simply done on the top of the tank, there’s no need to remove it. With its 3.7ml capacity, you’re sure to have beautiful vaping moments !

Two drip-tips are provided : the first is fairly conventional, close to a standard 510. The second is wider and flavour oriented. A cap, included in this kit, protects the drip-tip from dirt.

An airflow in the form of a wheel allows you to adjust your vaping to your desires by simply turning it.

This mod has a built-in 1500mAh battery. The manufacturer promises an autonomy of up to 36 hours !

With its fast charging system, it will only take 1 hour to be fully charged. The micro-USB port closes with a small cap to guarantee the product is sealed. On the front, you’ve got the on / off button and the +/- allowing you to navigate the menu.

The 0.42 "screen shows the battery level, the number of puffs and the wattage. The power can be adjusted from 5 to 40 watts. The Aegis Boost Kit is not only resistant, but also easy to use. It offers an excellent rendering of flavours.

So ?

We’ve asked Cédrick, logistics manager at Sweetch, to test this kit. He paired it with Conspiracy’s The Kennedy e-liquid, a vanilla cookie sprinkled with sugar, caramel and pistachios. He shared his impressions with us :

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?
I loved the design. Overall, when you see it, you really have a feeling of reliability.

How was it getting started ?
It was very simple. Everything is already set when we take it out of the box. Besides the 0.4ohm coil is preinstalled in the cartridge that’s already on the mod. You simply need to lift the small silicone cap on the cartridge and fill it with liquid. Wait 5 minutes for the coil to soak and you’re good to go !

How was your experience with this kit ?
I love its ergonomics, especially since it adapts perfectly to my hands. Besides, when I hold it, I simply have to clench my fist a little to activate it. No need to look for the Switch !
It really has an amazing rendering of flavours as well as a nice production of steam. What I find great is that you can go from a moderate tight to a restrictive aerial vape depending on the coil you’ve put in.
With a 3.7ml capacity and its 1500mAh, it has a great autonomy. It will last you all day, maybe even two depending on how often you use it. For example, I’m at 242 puffs and still have 1 battery bar left !
This kit is very compact, reliable and easy to use. It’s also waterproof. I just love it !

Have you encountered any difficulties ?
Depending on how you hold it, you might need to turn the drip-tip a little to vape. But since you can turn it, this’s not a problem.
Because the cartridge is black, it can be difficult to see the remaining liquid level. But this can be fixed by simply holding it against the light, so it’s no big deal.

Who would you recommend this kit to ?
Because of its versatility, I think it’s suitable for anyone. Its power, its ease of use and the fact that you can change the drip-tip make it an e-cig that will suit a beginner, as well as a confirmed vaper.
