10 days with the Innokin - Coolfire Kit

We tested for you this week the CoolFire Mini Kit of Innokin. On the market since 2011, this American brand offers all kinds of equipment for vaping, suiting beginners and experts alike.

Their primary objective is to combine technological innovations and latest design trends with very high quality standards. Values shared by Sweetch, obviously!

Look and packaging

The packaging of the CoolFire is very sober. A white rectangular box with a photo of the kit, which allows one to know immediately the kit’s color.
Inside the box, we first find the user manual. Under it, there is the box, the Zenith D22 atomizer, resistances (1x Zenith Plexus 0.5Ohm and 1x Zenith KAL 1.6Ohm), and the charger.

It’s all there, so let’s test it!

When opening the box, we are immediately surprised by the box’s size. It is an adorable miniature format, only 63mm high!

The colors are very flashy, and we immediately note that the components are high quality. Simply beautiful. We are immediately taken aback by the CoolFire’s look: very discreet in either black or white, but super flashy in pink – super girly indeed!

We use the Zenith D22 atomizer – which we know already, has been on the market for some time, and for good reasons. It is indeed a reference article for MTL vaping (Mouth-To-Lung, i.e. indirect or tight vaping).

We used the 0.5Ohm resistance that we permeated with a Classic RY4 e-liquid of VDLV (a blond tobacco with a hint of savory caramel). Very easy filling, as one just needs to turn the top ring.

We are also impressed by how simple it is to install the resistance – impossible to get it wrong. The Zenith can be used with traditional e-liquids or with nicotinated salts. You only need to choose the appropriate resistance.

Once mounted, we are impressed by its small size (108x36x22mm) and its ergonomic aspects. It holds in the palm perfectly, and slips just as easily in a pocket or handbag.

It comes with a small screen and two buttons to move around in the menu. Especially good for beginners, it automatically knows which resistance is used and adapts the power provided accordingly. Very simple and intuitive indeed. In addition, all the necessary safety features are present, which will allow you to vape safely and without any risks of leaks.

After five long minutes of waiting to make sure that the resistance was well permeated with e-liquid, we can finally activate it by simply pressing the fire button three time. Here we go!

So ?

We were immediately seduced by the CoolFire. It provides a good quantity of vapour, and an excellent rendering of flavors. The throat hit is very enjoyable and the flavors simply explode in the palate!

In terms of autonomy, its 1300mAh battery with max 40W power lasts a long time. Under normal vaping conditions, it will last for a day with ease.

And given the quantity of vapour produced and its 2ml capacity, we did not need to re-fill with liquid during the whole day.

Our impression

The CoolFire Mini Kit is compact and discreet, and can therefore be carried around anywhere without being cumbersome. Its ergonomic traits and its autonomy make it an ideal companion the whole day long.

Its format and limited vapour production make it a very discreet kit, that will enchant vapers that do not like to make too much of a fuss around large clouds. It remains well hidden in one’s hand, and makes small or large clouds at wish.

It can go from a more tight vaping style to a more aerial one by just adjusting the airflow. And whatever the adjustment, the flovor rendering is perfect.

This kit is recommended for anyone who wants to quit smoking traditional cigarettes, ideally combining it with nicotine salts and 1.6Ohm resistances. Or as a secondary kit for expert vapers.
