Let’s talk about this kit


The Gala Starter kit is a pod. It consists of a battery and spare cartridges.

Its design is simple and classy at the same time. And its small size (108 x 25mm) allows you to hold it in the palm of your hand, but also to store it easily in a pocket or bag.
Want to always have it on hand ? The pack includes a carrying cord. So you can always keep it around your neck !

It’s equipped with a 500mAh battery, so it has an autonomy of about 12 hours or 150 puffs.
Charging is done using the micro-USB cable supplied. It charges in just one hour and you can vape while charging ! Its luminous led will show you the remaining battery. To do this, simply remove the cartridge and put it back on : 100-40% = green / 40-20% = yellow and 20-0% = red.

Another special feature of this LED is that by tapping the Gala 3 times in the palm of your hand and shaking it afterwards, you can change the colour of the LED when you vape.
Feel like putting some colour in your life ? Then tap the Gala 5 times and you’ll get a wonderful lightshow !

The pods/cartridges are very easy to fill. Simply open the tab underneath to access the filling hole.
In case the nozzle of your bottle is too wide, Innokin has added 3 adapters with the pack.

Finally, two types of coils are provided with this pod. They are integrated in the 2ml capacity cartridges : a 3D Plex in 0.5ohm and a Ceramic in 0.8ohm, which offers a tighter and slightly warmer vape. The Ceramic is also recommended for liquids with high nicotine levels.
They both offer a tight vape, but not too restrictive and an excellent rendering of flavours !

We asked Rebecca, webmarketer at Sweetch, to test this kit. She paired it with VDLV's Red Absinthe e-liquid, an explosion of flavours with the absinthe freshness and the sweetness of red fruits.

She shared her impressions with us :

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?
It’s gorgeous ! I saw the pics and asked Arnaud to put an opal (blue) aside for me. It's a little bigger than I imagined, but I'm delighted. It's beautiful !

How was it getting started ?
Couldn't be simpler. There's just one tab to lift to put the liquid and it has to be lifted gently. Otherwise everything is automated, so it's really easy.

How was your experience with this kit ?
The flavour rendering is good for a pod.
There's quite a lot of steam production, which I really like. And the autonomy looks pretty good, I filled it 3 times before I saw signs of fatigue.

Have you encountered any difficulties ?
None.

Who would you recommend this kit to ?
To everyone. It will work well for a beginner because of its simplicity, but also for more experienced vapers as a backup device for example.
