10 days with Aspire’s Nautilus Prime

Let’s talk about this kit

We are pleased to present the Nautilus Prime, Aspire’s latest pod mod.

Angular in shape, it’s made of anodized aluminium, which makes it not only strong, but also fingerprints and dirt proof.
Its small size (90 x 45 x 23mm) and weight (118g) make it easy to take everywhere. 

It’s equipped with a 2000mAh battery (excellent autonomy guaranteed !) and is quickly charged thanks to the USB-C cable provided. It has a maximum power of 60W and 3 different modes : Volts, Watts and Bypass.


Its screen displays all the useful information and the setting buttons allow you to navigate through the menus, as well as to adapt the vaping to your preferences.

Its PCTG cartridges, with a capacity of 3.4ml, are compatible with Nautilus BVC coils :

  • The 0.7ohm is designed for an aerial shisha-like draw.
  • The 1.8ohm is designed for a tight cigarette-like draw.


Its 3-step airflow allows you to adapt the steam flow to your desires.

An RBA base is also available for those who’d like to transform their pod mod into a rebuildable !

We’ve asked Isabelle, founder of Sweetch, to test this kit. She paired it with Cyber Rabbit's Neon, a delicious mix of peach and grapefruit.

She shared her impressions with us :

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?
I was looking forward to testing this pod mod, because Aspire has always been part of our range and has always kept its promises with good quality devices.

First impression when I opened the box, I noticed the really compact size of this pod mod. I was expecting it to be bigger.

How was it getting started ?
As soon as you hold it, you can immediately feel the quality of the product. And above all, it fits perfectly in the palm of the hand, even in a woman's hand. Very discreet.

Nice touch, the instructions are well written and easy to understand.

How was your experience with this kit ?
As soon as I had it my hand, I immediately noticed something very practical. The airflow control is very accessible and easy to handle, which is not always the case on other atomizers.

There are 2 coils provided in order to test and choose which works best for you. The 0.7 Ω will be suitable for a power ranging between 20 and 25 watts and the 1.8 Ω can be used between 10 and 14 watts. They can be differentiated by the colour of their main joint, blue for 0.7 Ω the one I picked, and white for the other one.

The device's pod (tank) is easily removed and the coil is simply installed. For the filling, simply lift a small silicone cap. If you tilt the tank a little, you can fill it completely.

Several settings are available using only the 3 buttons. You can lock your setting so as not to change it accidentally.

You feel safe considering all the safety devices it has (automatic shutdown at 10 seconds, short-circuit protection, overheating protection, overload, etc.).

With its ergonomic size, the thumb directly finds the switch which is very well placed.

My first impression while vaping with the 0.7 Ω coil is that this pod mod is really quiet and produces a lot of steam for its size. Ideal for DL vaping, this coil gives a rather warm vape.

Used to boxes with external batteries, I was a little concerned about the integrated battery. In the end, I was amazed by the autonomy ! It really holds you all day long.

It has an excellent steam quality and quantity, being compatible with the proven Nautilus BVC coils. It has a great autonomy thanks to its 2000mAh integrated battery and 3.4ml capacity. This pod mod works for beginners as well as experienced vapers and can be carried everywhere with you because of its dimensions.
