Introduction

As it is the very latest novelty that drew our interest, we have tested the clearomizer Skrr of Vaporesso. The American brand was created in 2015 by its mother company SMOORE (itself created in 2006). Its presence of now 13 years make it the oldest company in the world of vaping.

They are proud to propose a safe and high quality vaping experience. As the needs and wishes of the vaping community are very diverse, Vaporesso makes it a point of honour to develop products that are suited for the majority of possible users, from the beginner to the expert.

Look and packaging

The packaging of the Skrr comes as a very slick square box.

Once opened, it reveals a beautiful smaller box with of very sober design. In it can be found the atomizer, the second drip tip and the silicone protection for the bubble tank.

And under this are the 5ml Pyrex, the spare parts, and additional resistances.

Le Skrr : here we go !

Skrr is pretty unpronounceable, but it made our team very eager to discover it. We finally decided to pronounce it SKAR.

Giving it a closer look, this clearomizer has all the traditional characteristics of the Vaporesso brand. With a diameter of 26mm and a height of 60mm, it offers a 8ml capacity through its 30mm bubble tank, and a 5ml capacity with its straight tank.
Vaporesso has developed QF Meshed resistances of the newest generation, which offer an optimal power and a homogeneous heating to the liquid. In addition, the coil is made of traditional cotton and linen. This confers to the resistance an exceptionally good capillarity and a long lifespan. The flavour rendering and vapour production of these latest generation resistances are impressive.

Let’s note that the Skrr is also compatible with the existing GT Core resistances of Vaporesso, so you will not need to throw away the ones you still have in your drawers! In short, the Skrr offers a wide range of uses given the number of compatible resistances.

The filling occurs from the top. The top cap pivots, giving access to a filling hole that is large enough to accommodate any type of bottle or pipette.tibles.

Changing the resistance is very simple: just unscrew the base, take the resistance out, wet the new one, and screw it all back on.r.

Our opinion

Given its rather large design and its capacity, we associated the Skrr with a powerful and sober box : the Armour Pro of Vaporesso. Regarding the e-liquid, we chose the Pinskter from Monster – a delicious waffle flavour with at its heart a raspberry mousse. As savory as it gets.

We used the preinstalled 0.15Ohm resistance and opted for the lowest power recommended, i.e. 50W. Even at this low level of power, the quantity of vapour was simply impressive.

The Skrr provides indeed for a very aerial vaping experience. When the airflows are totally open, there is no limit, but even half closed, the vaping is very aerial. We did however find that in this second case, the vapour came out warmer, which some might find uncomfortable.

In any case, if you a fans of big clouds, this clearomizer is for you!

We really appreciated the flavour rendering. In addition to the large clouds, it gives back all the subtleties of the aromas. We loved it.

Another important point is that despite the large clouds it generates, the Skrr does not deplete the liquid too fast. Its 8ml capacity will satisfy you for hours.

We were a bit surprised by one point: we had difficulty in unscrewing the top cap to change the joint. Our fault? We will investigate further.

In conclusion, we really loved this clearomizer. It will provide entire satisfaction to all cloud chasers, even the most demanding ones. And the flavour rendering is amazing.
