10 days with Vaporesso’s Swag 2

Let’s talk about this mod

We admit it ! We loved the Swag and we still have it in our range as a kit ! Really a timeless vaping kit.
When Vaporesso launched the Swag 2, we couldn't help it, we totally fell for this mod ! Lighter, more comfortable and resistant, it had everything to seduce us ! And its design was totally revamped, both in terms of material and colours. On these points, it’s very similar to the Gen 220W.

Very light, the mod alone weighs 70g without the battery.
As for its coating, it’s made of a soft touch rubber type, very pleasant. In addition to being very resistant to scratches, it prevents fingerprints ! Its curves are simply very ergonomic and pleasant.

The Swag 2 has an 18650 battery (not included). It has a 2A micro-USB charging port, ensuring fast charging. However, since all mods are equipped with a removable battery, we recommend using an external charger to ensure your battery a longer life.

Basically, there’s the Fire button on the top, the screen and the button giving access to the various setting on one side.
At the bottom right are the + and - buttons. Its 0.91 '' screen indicates the mode you’re in, the battery level, the wattage, the resistance value and the number of puffs.

Equipped with the latest Axon Chipset, the Swag 2 has various settings :

• Pulse : this mode activates the coil heating every 0.02 seconds for a constant steam flow from the beginning to the end of each puff.
• Eco : this mode optimizes the various settings preserving the battery when it starts running low.
• Smart TC : automatically adapts the settings to the installed coil.
• DIY including VW, VV, VT, CCW, Bypass and SuperPlayer.

As for its user interface, it’s very simple and intuitive.
This mod is particularly suitable for DL ​​atomizers (shisha type aerial draw) in order to make big clouds, but also works very well with MTL atomizers (tight cigarette type draw).
And it will also accommodate all atomizers with a diameter up to maximum 25mm and it has a 510 spring-mounted pin.
Finally, it offers a power ranging from 5 to 80W and is compatible with coils in 0.03 to 5.0ohm.

And so ?

We’ve asked Mathéo, webmaster at Sweetch, to test this box. He paired it with Vaporesso’s Zlide tank and Beard’s e-liquid The One Apple Cinnamon Donut Milk, a delicious apple donut, sprinkled with cinnamon and dipped in milk. Ideal for the winter season ! He shared his impressions with us :

What was your first impression when you saw this mod ?
It’s clearly in line with the new Vaporesso collection. Overall, it's a great mix between the Swag and the Gen 220W.
With the material and the finishes, it really looks like a small Gen.
The overall concept, with the battery that’s placed from the top and the characteristic cap to close the compartment, matches the Swag we know.

How was it getting started ?
Very naturally. When removing the cap, there’s a very clear indication on how to place the battery, no mistake possible.
It automatically detected the coil placed in the Zlide, so I had nothing to do.
It got me though with the first activation. It asked me if it was a "new" or "old load" and I indicated "new". So it activated to detect the coil and burned it, because I had not yet put any liquid in.



How was your experience with this mod ?
The ergonomics are very nice. The material is very pleasant and not slippery. The only small thing is that it has a kind of gap on one side. So depending on how it’s held, it will be more comfortable to hold it in one hand than in the other.

For power, I use it at max 18W, since I vape in MTL. But I tested it with a DL atomizer on a higher power and the result is impressive. And the pulse mode really gives it a smooth and constant steam flow. It’s very nice.

In terms of autonomy, I used a battery that I already had for a while and that I should probably change soon. Nevertheless, it lasted me all day ! So with a new battery, it will last even longer.

The last thing is its light weight. With my setup, I'm at 188g with the mod, the battery and the liquid-filled atomizer.

Have you encountered any difficulties ?
Aside from the fact that I burned the coil, no.

Who would you recommend this kit to ?
I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. There are advanced modes and a lot of power, so I think it's better for intermediate to expert vapers.

Conclusion

The Swag 2 is a mod halfway between the Swag and the Gen 220W, both in its curves and its materials. It has various modes allowing either to be guided in the settings, or to customize them. With a max power of 80W, it adapts to both MTL and DL atomizers and offers a smooth vape thanks to its Pulse setting.

This mod will last you all day long thanks to its 18650 battery and promises delicious moments of vaping !
