10 days with Innokin's Z50 Zlide Kit

Let’s talk about this kit

We were seduced by the CoolFire Mini Kit. Today, Innokin comes back to us the Z50 Zlide Kit . Still very compact, but with longer batterie life and increased capacity.

First of all the box : the Coolfire Z50 is not only compact, but also easy to use and very intuitive.
It combines a tube and box format, which allows it to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand.
It’s designed to accommodate tanks up to 24mm in diameter.
On the flat part is the OLED screen, the + and - buttons and the Switch.
The display shows all the useful information, such as the coil value, the volts, the power in watts, the battery level, a puff counter and the duration of the last puff in seconds.
It’s equipped with an integrated 2100mAh battery with a maximum power of 50W.
On the bottom of the box is the micro-USB port and underneath the box is an ON/OFF button that will prevent any involuntary activation !

What about the tank ?

The tank, the Zlide D24, is already well known when it comes to tight draw. Like the Zenith, it’s one of the leaders in its category !
It has a capacity of 4ml and is compatible with Z Coils.
To open, you’ll need to remove the drip tip, then simply slide the top cap to the indicated point. This system acts as a child safety device. The filler hole is large enough for any type of dropper.
To change the coil, simply unscrew the tank from the box, unscrew the bottom part and remove the coil. Easy !

And so ?

We’ve asked Thomas, manager of our Sweetch shop in Nyon, to test this kit. He paired it with Curieux’s Raspberry Blackcurrant e-liquid, a 100% plant based liquid, a blend of red fruits offering an explosion of flavours when vaped.

He shared his impressions with us :

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?
I thought it looked really good.

How was it getting started ?
Getting started was quite easy since I already had the Coolfire, the same kit but with the old tank and slightly smaller.
The filling is very easy with the Zlide, once you understand that you have to remove the drip tip to be able to push the plate and access the tank.
Switching it on was a bit trickier, there’s an on/off push button under the box so it took me a little while to figure out how to turn it on.

How was your experience with this kit ?
I love Innokin for MTL and the Zlide is really cool.
It's a good little box with a nice grip.
It's got a great battery life ! When vaping at 12 watts, it easily gives me 24 hours of autonomy, which means roughly three days of work without recharging it.

Positives

• The fact there are two different drip tips : for example, the blue box has gildings and comes with a golden drip tip, which gives it a really nice finish.

Negatives

• Other than the time spent trying to find the ON/OFF button the first time, none.

Conclusion

Innokin spoils us with CoolFire's big brother, the Z50. A compact kit, with a good battery life, a 4ml capacity and a high quality MTL draw. This kit has everything a fan of tasty vaping and simplicity could hope for !
