Introduction

Established in 2015, Vaporesso has become one of the leaders within the electronic cigarette industry. With over 1000 patents to its credit, the Chinese manufacturer has placed innovation at the heart of its strategy to tackle the vaping scene.

Now they are back with the Gen Fit, a very simple kit, designed especially for first time vapers or MTL vape enthusiasts.

This screenless kit, with simple settings, provides a vape sensation similar to a traditional cigarette.

Let's talk about this kit

Available in 5 different colours, Vaporesso's Gen Fit Kit is a small, no-fuss Pod made of aluminium alloy for light weight and resistance.

Simple, elegant, and compact, it will travel with you wherever you go. Its small 122mm size, clearomizer included, is the perfect nomadic device.

With the Gen Fit kit, vaping is intuitive. Simply inhale to trigger the e-cig's automatic ignition or use the switch button to choose your favourite power.

Its latest Axon chipset allows, thanks to the pulse mode, to select between 3 vape power settings up to 20W. 

To make things easier, there is no screen but an LED concept providing all the relevant information quickly and easily.

The switch is used to control the on/off and to adjust the voltage level, the information is indicated by the number of leds lit : 

  • 3 LEDs lit : 3,5 V (high)
  • 2 LEDs on : 3.3 V (medium)
  • 1 LED on : 3.0 V (low)

The integrated 1200 mAh battery can be charged using the included USB-C cable.

The battery status is indicated by a coloured circle on the top of the box : 

  • Green, battery is 70-100% charged
  • Blue, battery is 40-70% charged
  • Red, battery is 0 to 40% charged

The gen Fit kit from Vaporesso comes with the brand's iTank M clearomizer. 

Made of break-proof PCTG, it has a generous 3ml capacity, with top filling.

Equipped with a 510-format drip tip, it can be used with clearomizers up to 19mm. 

It also has an airflow ring with a precise 4-level adjustment, providing the option of a very tight or more aerial vape, and a cigarette-like hit.

The iTank M is equipped with a 1.2 ohm MTX coil from Vaporesso, dedicated to a tight vape and a high nicotine rate, with an excellent rendering of flavours. This coil will last for a long time and can be used between 8 and 12 W, for a ratio ranging from 50PG/50VG to 80PG/20VG.

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?

I found it very thin in appearance, rather classy, discreet, and easy to carry. Definitely not bulky like some of the other devices. It reminded me of Justfog's Q16.

How was it getting started ?

Easy to use, it confirmed my first impression of the product.

I found the automatic draw particularly interesting, as well as the possibility to adapt the power according to your needs.

For a day of vaping, the capacity and autonomy are more than sufficient, especially for a small pod like this one.

Have you encountered any difficulties ?

I thought this Gen Fit kit from Vaporesso was particularly intuitive and really easy to use.

Who would you recommend this kit to ? 

I would recommend this kit to smokers who want to quit smoking and start vaping. Vaporesso's Gen Fit kit is the ideal tool for a simplified first approach to vaping.
