The DotPod Go consists of two components :

• A slim, lightweight 650 mAh pod equipped with a small 0.69" OLED screen.

• A 2350 mAh power bank with a 0.99" colour TFT screen and a touch button for locking or navigating menus.

Once assembled, these two parts form a compact unit (109.4 x 45.2 x 20.4 mm, weighing 116 g) with Dotmod's signature design : clean lines, anodised aluminium and impeccable finishes.

The total battery life is 3000 mAh, allowing for several days of use without recharging. The pod recharges automatically when placed back on the powerbank thanks to an intuitive magnetic connection. Each element also has its own 5V/2A USB-C port for fast charging.

When it comes to vaping, the DotPod Go focuses on simplicity :

For this test, we called on Steve, manager of the Sweetch shop in Nyon, an experienced vaper and connoisseur of Dotmod equipment. He used the DotPod Go for 10 days, paired with Classic US e-liquid from the Cirkus range (VDLV), a balanced blond tobacco, ideal for judging flavour reproduction.


What was your first impression of this kit ?

As soon as you pick it up, you can feel the Dotmod signature : impeccable finishes, pleasant to the touch, and a feeling of solidity despite its compact size. The powerbank fits perfectly into the pod, and the magnetic assembly is smooth and precise. This is clearly a well-designed product, where every detail has been carefully thought out.

How easy was it to get started ?

Honestly, it's pure plug and play. Even for someone who isn't familiar with vaping, it's a real pleasure in terms of simplicity : you fill it, clip it on, and vape. The pod's screen displays essential information, and the powerbank's screen adds a modern and practical touch. I particularly appreciated the responsiveness of the automatic draw, with no latency and instant, consistent heating.

What is your experience with this kit ?

After several days of use, I was impressed by the stability of the power and the quality of the flavour. With the Classic US from Cirkus, you get a faithful reproduction of blond tobacco, with balanced notes that are neither too dry nor too sweet. The 0.8 ohm coil offers a very good compromise between hit and smoothness, ideal for a slightly open MTL.

In terms of battery life, there's nothing to complain about : the power bank does the job. Several days of use on a single full charge is impressive. The adjustable airflow is well calibrated, with no leaks, and the heat remains under control even during prolonged use.

Did you encounter any difficulties ?  

The only slight drawback concerns the side filling: the hole is a little narrow, so with some bottle tips, you have to aim carefully. Otherwise, it is a reliable, consistent kit with no leaks whatsoever.

Who would you recommend this kit to ?   

I would recommend it to vapers looking for simple but high-end equipment. Ideal for travelling, breaks at work or as a quality second setup.
