Let’s talk about this kit

Innokin’s Sensis kit is a trendy, easy-to-use and, above all, high-performance pod mod !

Very ergonomic, its leather imitation covering makes it particularly pleasant to the touch. The top part is made of glass, unlike most pod-mods which have a plastic tank. And that’s a great idea from Innokin ! Thanks to the glass, there’s no alteration of the taste and the flavours are perfectly rendered.

As for the mod (the electronic part located underneath), like on the Kroma Z kit, you’ve got a trigger which acts as a "Fire" button under which is also the screen indicating the settings. To turn it on, 3 clicks on the trigger and it's done ! The same thing to turn it off.

It’s equipped with all the safety features you’d expect from such a device : against overheating, short circuits and excessive discharge, as well as protection when charging. But that's not all ! The Sensis has 3 new vaping modes :

· Refresh which cools your coil to avoid dry-its and flavours alterations.

· Coil + which vibrates your coil to remove dirt.

· FØ, this is a secret mode that combines the 2 previous ones. It’s unlocked after vaping for a bit...

Its cartridges have a capacity of 3.1ml. They are easily filled from the bottom by removing the rubber tab.

The coils can be changed in no time at all. Simply remove the cartridge from the mod and take it out, install a new one and put it back in ! And with the magnetic cartridge system, it's a breeze.

Two types of coils are available :

· A 0.25ohm S-Coils for a very aerial draw (DL)

· A 0.65ohm Sceptre Coils for a tight yet aerial draw (RDL)

The power is adjustable up to 40 watts and therefore offers great possibilities depending on your vaping profile. To adjust it, hold down the Fire button for 3 seconds when the mod is on. You’ll then see the screen flashing, press the +/- and your power will change. To make sure your settings don't change by themselves, you can lock the +/- by holding down the “fire” and “-” buttons for 3 seconds.

In addition to these settings, an adjustable airflow is built into the mod. It allows you to adjust the vaping to your preferences, MTL (= tight) or DL/RDL.

The mod is also equipped with a 3000mAh battery, which ensures great autonomy !

And so ?

We’ve asked Steve, Sweetch's logistician and long-time vaper, to test this kit. He paired it with Made in Vape's Wink Spaceship e-liquid, a delicious lemon mixed with red fruits and a hint of hibiscus for a tangy finish.

He shared his impressions with us :

What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?

I had a particularly good impression with this kit, you can feel and see the quality. Its compact yet elongated in format, with a weight neither too light nor too heavy, offering a good grip.

How was it getting started ?

Filling the pod is relatively intuitive, the little black tab stands out very clearly from the rest, you don't need to read the instructions to know that you only need to lift it up to fill. 3 clicks on the screen, and the device starts quickly and easily.

You can easily lock/unlock the adjustment buttons by holding the Fire and "-" buttons at the same time. Pressing simultaneously the buttons "+" and "-" allows you to quickly access the menu of the device where you find the usual settings and the "secret" mode FØ offering a new style of vaping producing a variation of current when you vape, this time the power is set in hertz depending on the type of coils used. Once perfectly adjusted, this mode provides a progressive and more fluid heat which extends the life of the coil and makes you rediscover the flavours of your e-liquid.

The cartridge is made of glass, which provides a better flavour experience than other tanks. With a built-in 3000mAh battery, the Sensis will keep you going all day long, no need to recharge.

How was your experience with this kit ?

I had an incredibly good experience with this kit, it’s safe and reliable. I tested it the pre-installed 0.25 ohm coil to get a feel for the draw in DL and also with a 1.2 ohm Sceptre coil to test it in MTL. This kit holds up well in both modes even if I expected a less aerial draw in MTL.

Have you encountered any difficulties ?

The magnet of the pod could be stronger, the pod can come off quite easily if you are a bit careless with the handling.

The MTL mode with a 1.2 ohm Sceptre coil and the MTL Driptip are a little too airy to my taste. I think it was better on the Kroma-Z. I would have preferred to have a ring with less airflow or smaller airflows to get closer to an MTL draw. But that's just my point of view and I'm sure this kit will easily find an owner with those who like a slightly aerial MTL draw.

Who would you recommend this kit ?

Beginners, intermediates, and experts for its simplicity of use and its autonomy but also for its famous FØ mode which can attract those who like more advance settings.
