What was your first impression when you saw this kit ?

Frankly, as soon as I opened the box, I was blown away by the look of the Aegis Solo 3. The design is very upmarket, with this mix of zinc and leather that gives it a modern yet robust feel. You can tell right away that it's solid, and that gives you confidence straight away.

What was it like at first ?

The box is really well thought out in terms of ergonomics. It's compact and lightweight, and the textured surface prevents it from slipping out of your hands. The little extra is the Touch Lock system: super practical, especially when you don't want to bother with buttons. It's simple, I got used to it in two seconds.

What's your experience with this kit ?

In terms of vaping, it's a real pleasure. The vapour is very dense and the flavours really come through, especially with the Z 0.4 ohm resistor, which is great for everyday use. The Smart mode is a real asset for beginners: it adjusts everything automatically. For experts like me, the Boosting and TCR modes allow you to really personalise your experience. You can tell that Geekvape has worked hard on the quality of the experience.

Did you encounter any difficulties ? 

The only small problem is the runtime when using the 0.2 ohm resistor. It consumes quite a lot of power, and frankly, this type of resistor is better suited to kits with two batteries. With the Aegis Solo 3, if you prefer to vape with the 0.2 ohm resistor, it's best to bring a spare battery so you can get through the day without worry. That said, if you opt for the 0.4 ohm resistor, you'll enjoy an equally enjoyable experience with much longer battery life.

Who would you recommend this kit to ?

Frankly, the Aegis Solo 3 can appeal to quite a few people. If you like making big clouds, it's an obvious choice. For the more adventurous or those who tend to be a little clumsy, its robustness is a real plus.
