TEST OF THE VOOPOO ARGUS KLYC POD

To find out more, we asked Rebecca, Marketing and Communications Manager at Sweetch, to test the pod for 10 days. For this test, she paired the Klyc with Myrtille Raisin e-liquid from the Potion Curieuse range from French manufacturer Curieux.


What was your first impression of this pod  ?

I found the Argus Klyc elegant and modern, with a minimalist design that makes it very attractive. The format is compact but inspires confidence in its solidity, which is important for a pod that you can take anywhere;

I was also pleasantly surprised by the magnetic cap. You can tell straight away that VOOPOO has thought about the details: this little accessory makes the experience more hygienic and gives the impression of a premium product.


How was getting started?

It's a pod designed to be used without thinking: no buttons, no screen, no complicated settings. Just fit the cartridge, fill up with your e-liquid and you're ready to go;

The fact that the power automatically adjusts according to the resistance takes a lot of the complexity out of the equation for novice users;

I also really liked the automatic draw: you suck in and it works straight away, with no latency. After just a few minutes, I felt like I'd been using this pod for weeks.

What is your experience with this pod?

After several days of daily use, I have to say that I've been won over. I vaped exclusively with Curieux's Blueberry Grape e-liquid and the flavours were amazing. The taste remains constant, even after many puffs, with no loss of intensity;

In terms of autonomy, the battery easily lasts a whole day, sometimes even a little longer, and the rapid USB-C recharge is very practical: in less than 40 minutes, the pod is ready to go again;

Another strong point: I didn't experience any leaks, even after 10 days. That's rare and really appreciated, as it's often the weak point of many pods.

Have you encountered any difficulties? 

To be honest, no. Everything worked very well from start to finish;

The only comment I'd make is about the lack of advanced settings options. For vapers who like to personalise every detail of their experience, this may seem a little limited. But as far as I'm concerned, I found this simplicity to be an asset. It's a pod that requires no learning curve, and is suitable for everyone;

Who would you recommend this pod to?  

I'd recommend the Klyc to a number of people. Firstly, for beginners, because it's disconcertingly easy to use: you don't have to adjust anything, everything is intuitive, and you immediately enjoy quality vaping;

But I'd also recommend it to vapers who are concerned about hygiene and practicality: the magnetic cap is a real plus for everyday use;
