He tested it with Lady Emily e-liquid from Curieux's Speakeasy edition, a tasty blend of cranberry, pineapple, pomegranate and blackberry. Here's what he thought:


What was your first impression of this kit?

To be honest, I was immediately taken with the look. The design is modern, the finish is clean and the sparkling LEDs add real style without being gimmicky.

The box is light for a dual battery, with well thought-out curves for a good grip.

The contents are complete: two PnP X resistors, a spare glass, a USB-C cable, everything is there.

How did you get to grips with the box?

A pleasant surprise too. The box is fairly compact for a dual-battery model, and feels really good in the hand thanks to its rounded edges. The rotary knob for navigating the menus is original, and even if it takes a little getting used to, it makes adjustments quick.

The screen is easy to read, the information is very clear, and the system is intuitive, even for someone who isn't used to complex chipsets.

What's your experience with this kit?

I used the U-FORCE X clearo with the two resistors supplied, and was pleasantly surprised. With the Lady Emily liquid, I got great flavour reproduction, especially in 0.3Ω.

This is a kit clearly cut out for direct inhalation: the vapour is dense, the production is generous, and the draw is nicely airy.

The two 18650 batteries provide excellent autonomy, and the quick charge via USB-C is really practical. Even with intensive use, it keeps up well.

Did you encounter any difficulties?

Yes, there was one minor problem with the scroll wheel. It's not always ultra-responsive: sometimes you have to insist a little to scroll through the options. It's not unacceptable, but it could be improved. And the temperature control mode, as is often the case, remains fairly limited. Not really a concern for those who vapourise mainly at variable wattages.

Who would you recommend this kit to?

I'd definitely recommend it to intermediate to advanced vapers, especially those who like direct vaping and are looking for a high-performance kit without breaking the bank. It's a good compromise between design, autonomy and power. It's also ideal for those who want a stylish box that's easy to use, without falling into the trap of overly technical models.
