Another major asset is the 2.4-inch TFT colour screen, which can be customised with 18 backgrounds (some of which can be unlocked by accumulating puffs). The interface is clear and intuitive, and displays all the essential information: power, resistance value, battery level, and even the time.

The kit works with the new 5ml PnP X cartridges, compatible with all PnP X coils (0.15 to 1.0 ohm). The air flow is adjustable, as is the wattage via two controls. A locking slide secures the fire button to prevent accidental activation.

TEST OF THE VOOPOO VINCI E120 POD

At Sweetch, we usually test products in real-life conditions before recommending them. There's nothing like the opinion of an expert in the field to find out whether a new product lives up to its promise. So we gave the Vinci E120 to Julien, our Geneva shop manager, to test it out for 10 days.

For this review, Julien chose to pair it with the Soul Diva e-liquid from the Speakeasy edition by Curieux, a French reference renowned for the finesse of its flavours. The objective ? To evaluate the pod in everyday use, under normal conditions, and above all : to tell you the truth about its strengths and potential limitations.


What was your first impression of this pod ?

I was very pleasantly surprised when I unpacked it. The format is compact, but the device immediately looks reliable. It feels like a top-of-the-range product. The screen is beautiful, very bright and pleasant to use.

What was it like at first ?

Very intuitive. Everything is well thought out : the button lock, the simple settings, the easy-to-fill cartridge. Even for a beginner, this pod is easy to get the hang of.

What was your experience with this pod ?

I used the Vinci E120 every day for about ten days, alternating between the two coils provided. Right from the start, I was blown away by the responsiveness of the chipset : the heat is instantaneous, the vapour dense, and above all, the flavours are incredibly precise. The Soul Diva, with which I'm very familiar, reveals fruitier and sweeter notes here than with other devices I use.

What impressed me most was the battery life. Even vaping between 50 and 70W most of the time, I didn't need to recharge until the end of the day, and often not until midday the next day. The 4500 mAh battery clearly delivers what it promises. I also appreciated being able to vape while recharging thanks to the passthrough function.

In terms of comfort, the ergonomics are really good. The rectangular shape makes it easy to hold without being too bulky, and the screen is a real plus for everyday use : it's easy to read and has all the information you need.

Finally, on the technical side, there were no leaks, no dry hits, and it was very smooth to use. I alternated between a very aerial draw and a more restricted one thanks to the airflow adjustment system, which allowed me to adjust the draw to suit my needs.

Did you encounter any difficulties ?

The only slightly frustrating thing is that you have to unlock some of the backgrounds. This gaming aspect is original, but I would have preferred to have had everything from the start. 

Another thing is that the maximum power of 120W is mostly theoretical. With only one built-in battery, this value is rarely reached in reality. It's still a very powerful pod, but don't expect to vape at 120W continuously like you would with a dual-battery box.

Who would you recommend this pod to ? 

Experienced vapers looking for a simple but very high-performing pod. It's perfect for those who want a powerful vape without upgrading to a bulkier mod. But it may also be suitable for an intermediate vaper who wants to move towards a more aerial vape.
