Switcher Kit VS Revenger X Mod, Let's get ready to rumble.

With an almost simultaneous in-store release, the two latest products from Vaporesso a having a hell of a fight to take the first place in sales.

Between the imposing and solid Switcher Kit and the elegant and futuristic Revenger X mod, will David or Goliath win our test?

In this week's blog, we will talk about the characteristics of each of these 2 boxes with their upsides and downsides. We will also give you our opinion after having tested the 2 mods during 10 days in order to make our final verdict.

10 days with: The Switcher Kit

Let's begin our test with "The Monster or The Beast" Latest product to come out of the Vaporesso workshop. As soon as we lay our hands on it, it's weight and imposing size, paints us a pretty clear picture of what kind of power it will unleash and the size of the clouds that we are about to produce.As it name suggests, this box comes in a Kit and therefore with an equally imposing atomizer: the NRG tank 5ml.

We will test the Switcher kit with the e-liquid: The One strawberry for a fair and realistic comparision with the Revenger X Mod.

Presentation and packaging

This kits arrives in a modern and massive package with the colors from the chosen box.

The box contains : One Switcher Kit, an atomizer NRG Tank 5 ml, spare glas and joints for the atomizer, A coil NRG8 GT Core in 0.15ohm (buit-in), a coil 8 Core in 0.15ohm, a USB cable and a user guide.

This kit, let's review it !

As soon as we take it out of the box, it's weight surprises us, and so does the grip. We have to point out that the box is made out of zinc and carbon, its removable metal chassis completes its armor like a bulletproof vest and it's not just an impression. The effect is bluffing.

The usage is proven to be very easy thank to it's enormous Fire Switch button located avove the OLED 0,96 screen. The 3 buttons below the screen will allow you to navigate through the different modes and personalize your Switcher Kit.

Power and Batteries:

220W!!! The least we coud expect from the Switcher kit who will release an astonishing power with the two required 18650 efest batteries.

TANK:

The included NRG tank 5ml is without a doubt the best possible association. It's easyness to open and fill up will allow you to refuel your 5ml tank in a split second. The NRG8 and NRG4 coils will give you an amazing flavor restitution experience and maximum power for huge clouds.

electronics:

Navigating in the menus is a piece of cake you will be able to have different clock settings along with numerous locking and calculating options. The OMNI Board 2.6 chipset demonstrates once again its effectivness.

After the test, here's our verdict

We have tested this mighty kit during 10 days and when it was time to move on to another test, we couldn't help to feel a little down. We're gonna miss it... Sure it's heavy, sure it's big, but it's here !!!! always present, always ready to deliver maximum power, vape, taste and happyness. It's amazing the security feeling that she will give you, with some devices, you can't help but to feel like it's hanging on but on the verge of breaking down or that it is so fragile that you're just afraid to use it to the max. The Switcher kit will reassure you. You'll see....

We inserted 2 Efest - IMR 18650 3000mAh 35A Flat Top batteries and vaped roughly around 8 ml per day at a range of 65W with the GT8 coil. The batteries lasted all day without any problems.

For our test, we vaped the The One e- liquide a strawberry milkshake topped with delicious cereal flakes.

The flavour restitution associated with the giant clouds drawn during our vaping days was an unbeliavable experience and and the level is now set very high for our challenger, the Revenger X mod. Is it even worth trying?

10 days with: La Revenger X mod

Challenger? not worth trying? not so fast, The Revenger X mod is of course smaller, and less imposing, but trust us, she can hold herself and we were very surprised and how well she did.

So let's start our second test with the Revenger X mod for this test and to stay close to the Switcher Kit, we have this time, vaped on the Lemon The One .

We already knew Vaporesso Revenger Kit well and its older sister the X mod gives us a more futuristic approach of the revenger family.

The Revenger X mod is not a kit but a box to which we have added a NRG tank 5ml atomizer. Lighter than the Switcher Kit, she remains very solid and fits just great in our hands.

Our first reflex was to look for the navigation and setting buttons. We could have searched forever... there are none.

Once the two Efest - IMR 18650 3000mAh 35A Flat Top inserted, we discover the touch screen and vibrating motor. what an effect!!!! after having removed the thin plactic cover, the buttons appear and navigating through the different menus is very easy.

The Mod comes in a box in the colors of your device, simple and modern, The device comes with a USB cable and a User manual.

The NRG Tank atomizers being not included, are available in our stores with the matching colors.

Upsides

• sometimes hard to use the touch screen if wearing gloves.

After the test, here's our verdict

We have tested this box during 10 days and the least we can say is that the experience was surprising.

With 220W of power and double batteries it's very nice to be able to play with the different vaping styles. Large clouds, Tight draws by closing the air-flow, morning tight draws to evening big clouds, everything is possible within a few clics.

Beside the remaining charging time displayed, we also have the possibility of adjusting the vibrating motor up to 8 different levels. Far more than a simple gadget, the different options allow us to really fully personalize the Revenger X Mod for optimal comfort during the day.

Excellent grip, not to heavy, modern, The Revenger X mod passed our test with flying colors . The battery life easily allowed us to vape throughout the day and the size and weight has never created anykind of discomfort.

For this test test, we have vaped the The One Lemon, a mouth-watering lemon crumble pie, the flavor restitution was amazing regardless of the coil we used.

Conclusion

After 20 days of test we had time to doubt, fall in love, doubt again.... and we haven't completly made up our mind. The Switcher Kit and Revenger X MOD are both amazing machines with a different soul.

They both unleash the same astonishing power and both run on two Efest - IMR 18650 3000mAh 35A Flat Top batteries. The same 5ml NRG tank having being used for both tests, we experienced the same flavor restitution and clouds.

It all comes down to weight, size and grip then.....

The Revenger X mod will be perfect for an easy all-day usage. Not to big and not to heavy you will easily be able to carry it around all day long. The Switcher Kit will be be a perfect setup for a specific place like home, or your office, even in the car. Every puff is an explosion of flavor and vapor. The grip, until the very last day, gave us a very odd military-like security feeling. It's difficult to explain but it will never let you down.

But for who are they for ???

For everyone Fro beginners to cloud chasers. Both machines will allow you to find a specific vaping style and are reliable and safe to use.
