10 days with the Frenzy of Geek Vape

Let’s talk about the pod

The Frenzy kit of Geek Vape is a small rectangular pod. It is made out of zinc alloy and its faces of resin. It’s look is very fashionable and its finishing is stunning.

It is very simple to use. In six quick steps, you can start to vape. To start, just take out the magnetic cartridge, unscrew the resistance, open the tongue that gives access to the filling holes, fill it with e-liquid, close it back up, and put the cartridge on the pod.

It comes with two resistances: a 0.7Ohm one and a 1.2Ohm one, for either tight or aerial types of vaping.

Several possible adjustments are made possible through the use of the AS Micro Chipset: several modes are automatic, but it also has a TC mode. And the airflow is adjustable.

Finally, it has an integrated 950mAh battery and a filling capacity of 2ml.

So what is our verdict ?

We have asked Steve, a seasoned vaper of the Sweetch team, to test it. He combined with with the « ILS » Classic Menthol of Mad Hatter, a simple and uncomplicated mint taste.

What was your first impression on seeing this pod ?

A very good one indeed! The design is cool and I very much liked the resin face.

How was getting used to it ?

Very easy. The filling is very intuitive. It has a tongue with two holes, which prevents backflow during the filling with e-liquid.

It comes with a 1.2Ohm resistance, and as such, is very much adapted to the use with with nicotine-salt e-liquids. Or for those who wish to start in this range and need high levels of nicotine.

Tell us more of your experience with this pod ?

Given its 950mAh battery, the autonomy is excellent. I charged once initially, and then no longer needed to charge it again for all the duration of the test. And even after 10 days, the led remained blue, indicating that it still had miles under the hood …

That being said, I was not using it exclusively, as I still vaped in parallel on my box. I did use it frequently as a secondary device though.

It is lightweight, and fits naturally in the hand. It took me just 5 minutes to understand how it worked, how to hold it – even if I am more used to larger boxes.

The three power modes come in very handy. Testing the three rapidly allows to judge which one is best suited.

The quantity of vapor generated is rather good for a pod and the flavor rendering is excellent. The vaping is very aerial despite me using the 1.2Ohm resistance. I just closed the airflow to the max to move to tight vaping.

Did you meet with any difficulties ?

None whatsoever.

To whom would you recommend this kit ?

It can very well suit any beginner or anyone wishing to acquire a secondary device with nicotine salts, for example. Or anyone just looking for a simple device with a very cool look to it.

Conclusion

The Frenzy kit is a small and fun pod, that offers the possibilities to change the adjustments easily – and thus the vaping type, from aerial to very tight. It has an excellent autonomy and very good flavour rendering.
