The origins of the Start range

When we first conceived the Start range a few years ago, our aim was clear : to offer new vapers e-liquids that were simple, accessible and reassuring.

The Sweetch team is made up of people passionate about creation and flavour, who are always attentive to vapers’ needs. We identified a recurring need among beginners : simplicity.

Many new vapers tell us : “I want a flavour similar to my cigarette” or “I want something simple, not too complicated”.

It was from listening to this feedback that Start was born : a range designed for those who want to start vaping with complete peace of mind, featuring straightforward recipes and recognisable flavours.

The original range featured six flavours : American Tobacco, Strawberry, Mint, Caramelised Blonde Tobacco, Red Apple and Mint Tobacco. Each has been carefully developed to strike a precise balance between familiarity and enjoyment.

A commitment to the original recipes

The return of Start was not simply a rebranding. We wanted New Start to remain true to the spirit of the original recipes.

To achieve this, we collaborated with VDLV, our long-standing partner, renowned for its expertise and quality standards. But there was one crucial detail : ensuring that each recipe was as close as possible to the original.

That’s where Arnaud came in. With his experience and knowledge of Start’s original recipes, he tested every New Start e-liquid, fine-tuned the flavour profiles and approved each bottle to guarantee near-total fidelity.

“It was essential that every vaper could rediscover what they loved about Start. We left nothing to chance,” explains Arnaud.

So, the iconic flavours are back with the same quality, the same accuracy and the same enjoyment.
