Smokers profile


Noémie started to smoke when she was 14. why? She doesn't even know, probably to do like everybody else, bottom line is.... she has smoked a pack a day for over 15 years.

Willing to quit ?


Nope, actually not really. I kinda liked smoking. These little excuses to take a break, little moments doing nothing to enjoy a cigarette. It was apart of my life. But for my health I did often think about reducing a little bit. When I was pregnant, yes it crossed my mind, clearly is was better not to smoke for the baby but in the end, I never really stopped.

Another important point, was the money aspect. By smoking a pack per day, with my husband, I constantly thought that all this money would be better off somewhere else , that also motivated me. I finally asked myself: why are we both smoking? We talked it over and then one morning, on November first we did it. We said to each other: It's over. Good timing too 'cause my pack was nearly empty and I was out of cartons.

Discovering the Vape


One day at the institute, (I own a nail beauty Institute in Aubonne, Glam'Nails), a customer introduced me to the E-cig. she worked in that field and told me that it really worked to quit smoking.

that there was many flavors to choose from, and that we could even taste the liquids and add some nicotine.

We spoke about it during her hair-removal session and at the end without being completlly convinced I was willing to at least try, just to check it out, no pressure and just to back down a little on the cigs. One thursday, I dropped by the shop. Arnaud welcomed me, he asked my a lot of questions. Made me try different models. I didn't like big boxes, it didn't feel right in my hand I wanted to stick with a thin format resembling and allowing the gesture from smoking an actual cigarette.

I then started to vape alongside my usual smoking, roughly around 50%-50%. Some days, I would vape a little more, somedays a little less. Sometimes I would drop vaping for a few days then get back at it. That routine lasted around 2 years. I was already happy to have reduced my smoking. Finaly, last november I smoked my last cigarette and didn't light another one since then.

Key steps and new sensations


The first impression: it felt weird, it wasn't the same and you have to get used to it

At first it made my throat itch. I coughed a lot and I reduced my nicotine level from 6mg to 3 mg and It was way better. The best upside was the lack of horrible smell sticking to my hands and clothes.

But the bigger difference, is the breath. Before, when I went jogging, my throat was on fire. I used to have a hard time breathing. Now it's all in the legs, that's the only pain I feel and it is life-changing. I'm no longer out of breath

Flavour


I immediatly fell in love with the Cloud Mystic, I liked the fuity flavour topped with a little fresh mint. It's still my favourite to this day. I tried dozens of them but along with another mint form Cloud Vapor ( green frost) this one remains my all-time favourite.

Equipment


At first, I wanted a girly model, discreet, and I chose a green model from Joytech, an eGo One Mini. it wasn't the best model for me but I wanted a thin machin to begin with. I finaly chose an I stick Pico, It doesn't leak and is better for my needs battery wise , I still use it today

The best Sweetch advice


I liked the fact that I was guided since the beginning. I really felt that I was talking to someone who knew what he was going on about. He told me it was gonna be different, he was honest and did not pressure me.... That dit the trick and I really appreciated it.

My message to begginers


There are many ways to quit smoking but it's so personnal, My advice is to take the time to find the perfect machine and e liquid it might take a couple of tries but it's worth it.
